Planning a bike tour can be a fun and engaging experience. Here you can find a variety of our planned future tours, exploring some of our favourite destinations around beautiful Italy.
If you have ideas about possible dates, just let us know. In general, the best time to cycle in Italy is during the Spring and Fall, when there are milder temperatures and less tourists to compete with. Specifically, the months of April, May, September, and October are great times to plan a cycling trip in Italy. -
During the Spring, the weather is generally mild and comfortable, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F) in most parts of the country.
This is also the time when the countryside is at its most beautiful. Flowers in bloom, and rolling green fields stretch out in every direction. In the fall, the weather is similarly mild. Leaves are changing colours, making for an incredibly picturesque cycling experience.

Summer can be a challenging time to cycle in Italy, as temperatures can soar to over 30°C (86°F) in many regions. However, if you are thinking of conquering big mountains, the best time to do that is June and July, as the summer crowds have yet to arrive.
